No Reservations by Lilly Cain

No ReservationsNo Reservations by Lilly Cain
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Considering how short this story is I am surprised how much other than sex they managed to pack it. The sex obviously was the main focus of the story and it was pretty spicy. They managed to throw in some D/s action, anal play & bondage on top of the vanilla sex which considering it is so short that is really impressive.

I have never rated a short story more than 3 stars and i wont today, i will say though that is was good, entertaining & sexy.

I would recommend this book and i would read more by this author.

Five Days Grace by Teresa Hill

Five Days Grace (McRae series #4)Five Days Grace by Teresa Hill
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4 out of 5
Favorite Line - "He wanted to be the man she married, the man she stay with forever."
Favorite Character - Aidan.

From looking at the cover & reading the blurb i was expecting a pretty standard romance read but it is so much more than that. It is complex & moving. It is a love story in the truest sense. They both have had hardships & heartaches but upon finding each other discover that they can help each other move through it and move on to happiness. I loved the concept & I felt the story was well written. I was totally satisfied at the end of the story & the book left me with a feeling of contentment.

I would recommend this book & I would read more by this author.

Eighty Days Blue by Vina Jackson

Eighty Days Blue (Eighty Days, #2)Eighty Days Blue by Vina Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 5 out of 5 for the cover, i love it. 4 for the title.
Favorite Line - "If ever there was a woman who didn't need an aphrodisiac, Summer, it's you"
Favorite Character - Summer.

That book! That ending! Jesus Christ. Amazing.

The reason the book did not get 5 stars is that there is a part of the book that i actually found hard to read, I wont spoil it for you and explain where. My comfort level when it comes to kink is not as high as some so the part that made me feel uncomfortable might not even make you blink. I understood that this scene made the entire ending happen & because of that i dealt with my discomfort and read on. It did not lessen my feeling of admiration for the story or the writing in anyway.
I still love Summer & Dominik, even when at times i hated them too. I also felt I got a greater sense of understanding for both of them and how they turned out. The story was fantastic, even better than the first book.

I cannot wait to read the next book.

Sultry with a Twist by Macy Beckett

Sultry with a Twist (Sultry Springs, #1)Sultry with a Twist by Macy Beckett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4 out of 5
Favorite Line - "Before Freddy Krueger goes to sleep at night, he checks his closet for your grandma."
Favorite Character - Mae-June July Augustine (i figure her parents lost a bet & that's why she ended up with that name, or maybe the parents were stoned?)

Now i know this is nothing to do with the book but every time i read Luke's full name all i could think about was Liam Gallagher and then Oasis songs would run through my head, it was mighty distracting.

Apart from that I did really enjoy the book. I am not really a fan of second chance romances as i am a total cynic/grouch/grinch but i liked the book anyway. The characters each had a good back-story, which added depth to the story. I liked Luke & June together, their dialogue was at times super cute/sexy & i felt the chemistry was believable. I was happy with the way everything worked out & i liked the epilogue.

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading more by this author.

Favorite Line - “Yes,” he assured her without hesitation. “I thought I was broken too, that I’d never trust women, but I had it all wrong. I wasn’t broken at all. I was just waiting for you. It’s always been yours; even before we met, it belonged to you.”
Favorite Character - Melody

“Do you really believe in soul mates?”

“I do now.”

Aww this book was so sweet. I finished it with a huge smile on my face & a warm fuzzy feeling. Clay & Melody were awesome, as soon as i started reading i liked them, it made me really connect with the story. I also loved Jules, she was so funny(in the restaurant) The story was short but interesting. The sex scenes were hotter than Hades. I liked the writing style & i loved the dialogue between Clay & Mel. I was happy with the ending but i want more!

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading more by this author.

A huge thank you to Summer for being an amazing friend & lending me it!

This was a sweet story. It is a very clean version of a romance compared to what i normally read. It was wholesome & i could go as far as to say "good, clean, fun.". Now i am not saying that is a bad thing but it is far to tame for me. My mum would love this story as she loves a romance without sex scenes. The characters are believable and easy to like. The story is cute.

So if you are into a romance with out the sex scenes this book is for you.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4 out of 5
Favorite Line - "Welcome to Mavericks. Live out your wildest fantasies in the place where anything goes."
Favorite Character - Beth

This book was certainly interesting & a wild read too. I have read some menage books before but none as detailed as this one. I don't normally read books that contain male/male sex as i am not into it so this book was quite different for me. This story had BDSM & all-sorts of kinky-fuckery too. There was a tonne of anal play & even Beth donned a strap on for a piece of that action.
The characters all turned out to have emotional issues and that strained the relationship throughout the story. There was a suspense element to the story as well. It was a good book & i was entertained the whole way through. I was pleased with the ending & how everything worked out in the end.

This was my first read by this author & I would read more by her, just maybe not another menage :)
I would recommend this book.

Cover & Title - 4 out of 5.
Favorite Line - "Honey, if you got an innie and not an outtie between your legs, he's interested."
Favorite Character - Paige

"Men are a luxury, not a necessity."

Those words are Paige's motto. After witnessing her mom date more men than Paige had, had hot dinners, Paige decided to live things solo.

"Who open's jars for you?"
"I have a little gadget that does that."
"But..." He grinned. "What about sex?"
"I have a little gadget that does that, too."

I loved Paige's personality, she was a fantastic character to read as i liked her a lot.

I really liked this book, it had the perfect mix of sex & humor. The chemistry between Paige and Mitch was blazing, clear for everyone to see & one of the sex scenes in the trailer on the couch was so HOT *fans self*.
I have read the book before this one in this series, so this is my second book by this author. If i am honest i didn't actually like the last book that much, I am not entirely sure what caused the dislike but it certainly was there. Because of this i was surprised that straight away i fell into this book & i was hooked by the story almost instantly. This series all the books are stand-alone's linked by the fact one of the leads are part of the Kowalski family.

"I want to be a necessity" <3 *Swoon*

I would recommend this book & I want to read the rest of the books in the series.

Just One Night (Loveswept)Just One Night by Eve Gaddy
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4 out of 5
Favorite Character - Alex

I found the story to be predictable but sweet. It had enough surprises that i didn't actually manage to guess who the villain was, which was a plus. I got invested in the story and i like the characters. It wasn't obviously a re-release, as the story wasn't dated. The sex scenes were quite steamy and i felt the pair had good chemistry.
The reasons i rated it 3 out of 5 are quite simple, there were quite a few things that are not believable for me and they ruined the story for me a wee bit. I wont tell you what they are are they would spoil the story for you.
I did enjoy the book & I would recommend it if you are looking for a light, easy going romance.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 3 out of 5.
Favorite Line - "All I want is for you to stay with me" he said firmly. "It doesn't matter where we are, as long as we're together."
Favorite Character - Avery (such a beautiful name)

This is my first read by this author, so unfortunately i haven't read the first book in the star harbor series. It didn't affect my enjoyment of this book as it is perfect as a stand-alone book. I will most likely go back and read Seb & Lexie's book as they seem like a really lovely couple when they appear in this book.

Theo is "sinfully beautiful" & Avery looks like a "very sexy librarian". They are quite different in personality but they work well as a couple. They don't fall into the relationship easily and have to work at it through out the book. The chemistry is there from the beginning & the sex scenes between them are realistic & certainly sexy. The story was good and it contained enough surprises to keep up the intrigue. I was happy with the way everything came together and i loved that is was a happy ending.

Oh my favorite thing about the book is Lexie's Coconut Cake recipe at the end of the book. I laughed out loud when i saw this was included & thought to myself I wonder if Seb has the recipe yet?

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading more by this author.

I want Creed Riley for my Christmas present.

No truer words have ever been written.
This book was my brightness on a cold, dark autumnal day. It is a real pick me up of a story. I would go as far as to compare it to the literary version of a cuddle.
I loved the characters, Creed is one sexy cowboy & Sage is one creative Miz. The relationship between them is a slow but beautiful build. The author makes their love very realistic. The story is sweet & made me smile. I loved how it all worked out & the ending was heart warming. I am normally such a Grinch about corny Christmas stories but this story really worked for me.

Favorite Character - Rose

I started this book late one evening hoping for a cute cowboy romance & I sure found one :) It was a great way to spend an hour with a sexy short read. The characters were interesting & the story was sweet but certainly sexy. Cabe lived up to the title of this book, with thoughts like this -

He wanted to scoop her up out of that water and lay her out in the back of his pickup. He'd make her holler as he ate her right up

Can i volunteer to fill in for her instead? ;)

I would recommend this book & I would read more by this author, hopefully she will write Cabe's brothers stories (but longer books) so i can read them too.

Favorite Line - "This is insanity" she whispered, hardly aware she'd spoken out loud. "Then lose your mind with me, Scottie"
Favorite Character - Scottie.

I was really surprised to discover this book was in a series, I only figured it out right at the end of the book when a few other couple emerged. If you want to read this book in order check out the authors website where she lists the order of the series. This is book number 4. If you are wanting to read it regardless of the order or are looking for a stand-alone book then no worries, this book will work either way.
I was also surprised to discover that this book was originally published in 1998, i did not notice at all when i was reading that this book is over 14 years old. It is not dated in the slightest. It just goes to show that good writing style is ageless.

I enjoyed the story, i did find it a tad cheesy but it didn't affect how much i liked it. My favorite thing was the verbal & psychical sparring that went on between the leads, it made for great chemistry between them. I also felt that because the book is basically set in one house, with mostly the only two leads in scene that the story was intensely focused. That focus made it more interesting. I was glad the way things work out in the end as i love a happily ever after.

I would recommend this book & plan on reading the rest of the series in the correct order :)

I found this book to be an easy going enjoyable read. It had action, drama, emotion & hot love scenes. I have read quite a few books by this author and just like with this book i enjoyed them all. I felt the author had all the ingredients in all the right measures to make a great shifter story.
The chemistry was clear between the leads and the build up to them getting together was hot. I liked that the emotion continued to intensify between them till they were in-love. Maya was a great addition to the story and helped keep it from being very similar to some of other shifter books which i have read. I would like to read Maya's story, hopefully that will be released next. The ending was nice & i love when books have epilogues like this one <3 Happily ever afters are my favorite thing :)

This is my first read in this series & my first book by this author. I found the story interesting & I liked the chemistry between Jake & Michelle. I managed to feel a connection to all of the characters even though i hadn't read the rest of the series.
I laughed quite a lot while i was reading the book, which is always a plus. I also liked that there are kickass females in the book, i get so fed up with girls who are totally pansies who depend on the men to make everything alright. There were a few surprises thrown in a long the way to keep the interest levels up.

Favorite Line - "I found it jerky and monotonous, but for a classical slot on a real stage, albeit a small stage, i would have played Justin Bieber and found a way to look as though i was enjoying myself"
Favorite Character - Summer

I found this story very interesting. I wasn't sure whether I would like this book as I read quite a few bad reviews before i started. I honestly think a lot of these bad reviews are because the book is not suited to the reviewer. I do not think it would be rated so low if people who are into this style of book read it. I thought the story was well written and totally captivating.
I have read that people have linked this book to 50 shades but even in essence the book is not like 50 shades. This is a far better book, a far darker book & the sex in this book is far more erotic.

I caught my breath. Abandoned like a rag doll in a toy house.

I must say that around 80% i started to freak out as the book figuratively speaking started tumbling down the rabbit hole for me. I was pretty worried how it was going to work out. Thankfully in the end I was satisfied and calmed by how it was resolved.

I would recommend this book & I look forward to reading the rest in the series.

Favorite line - "I realized that, to really live, to experience life, i had to make choices and take some chances. So I'm staking my life on you loving me, too"
Favorite Character - Charlie

"We're almost there, Cinderella. Better put your shoes on."

The story starts with Davis convincing Charlie to be his fake fiance so that he can convince his mother to move on, get married and moved halfway across the world with the love of her life. He begs for just one night of her life but quickly things get out of hand with wedding showers, engagement parties & weddings. Charlie is very much anti cowboy and is reluctant to far for Davis's charms.

The story is cute & has a couple of funny bits. I liked the idea of the book & i liked the characters. I did however feel it was a bit rushed. I guess though this is because it is a prequel. I am sure the next book will be longer & more in depth.

I would recommend this book & I would read more by this author.

This book was absolutely magnificent. I wholeheartedly loved this story. I felt like my heart was being ripped out during parts of this book. I cried countless times, i truly wept during parts. It was a gut wrenching journey. I lost myself in the story and found myself feeling almost breathless at times. The book is mind-blowing, this story will stay with me forever.

The way i felt at the end of this book can be described as nothing short of euphoric, I am so delighted with the way things worked out. I cried happy tears when i finished the book.

The story starts of with a steamy sex scene in a hotel between Jade & Rob. The sex scenes in this book aren't frequent but they are passionate. The chemistry & sexual tension between the pair is clear and written in a way that i found believable. There is quite a lot of small town drama in this book & quite a few emotional things happen. The story is interesting & the ending was sweet. It has a nice happy ending & everything in the book wraps up in a nice way.

I read a tonne of reviews on this book before i got it & after the one that is first on goodreads i was totally put off. I almost didn't read it but i caved in the end :) I am glad that i did.

The sex scenes in this book were HOT. I love reading oral sex (*blush*) and the oral scenes in the book were deliciously carnal.
The story was good, i got into it and i enjoyed it but if i am totally honest the parts that i remember the most are the x-rated parts.

So if you are looking for a steamy read with extra stimulating cunnilingus scenes then this book will be a hit with you.

I enjoyed reading this book, it made me laugh out loud & smile quite a few times. It was a cheery easy afternoon read. I found the characters & story interesting. Maggie was a sweet character & Malone was a mystery.

I am wondering though if when you pass 30 and are a single female you turn into a crazed person needing to get married and pop some kids outs - every book in this category recently has had the female lead acting desperate.

Anyway, I would recommend this book.

So yeah because of the holiday hatred i normally avoid books named things like this or with cover like this. The reason i did not avoid it is because i have heard such good things about the author (and seriously none of the hype was false apparently). I am really glad i took a chance on the book as it was very enjoyable.

My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 3 out of 5.
Favorite Character - Ethan.

Jesus christ the first 40% of this book was dull with a capital D. I barely got into the story at all, i actually considered giving up but since 9pm was too early to go to bed i continued. In the end i am glad i continued as i enjoyed the ending (and i hate not finishing a book), that was my favorite bit (maybe actually the only bit i liked - yikes). I found the story really depressing and not in a way that i liked or enjoyed, in fact it made me want to cry a bit. Cry but not in the good way which actually seems to cleanse your soul - this kind of crying would of been in the i need to eat ice cream in the dark while listening to my most depressing CD. Also even thought it worked out in the end i kind of hated Lucy and found her to be very insensitive, at times a total bitch. Ethan could of done better.

I wouldn't recommend this book, check out the authors other books as i LOVED some of them.

oh and the book made me so goddammn hungry! do not read this book if you are on a diet.

That was me yesterday phoning up my friends when i was out to ask if it was posted on Amazon yet.

I started reading it as soon as it appeared on my kindle, i really wasn't that sure about it at the start but thankfully as i read on i got into the story.

This was me during the first sex scene, after it i was busy trying to get my breathing back in control.

The rest of the book my emotions were a total mess, the horrors of the past and the love of the present were super intense. I enjoyed this book and i thought most of the sex scenes were incredibly hot.
I did not enjoy the story as much as Knight & I did not like the character Creed as much as i liked the character Knight. I did however love Sylvie & like her a hell of a lot more than Anya.
I was really glad the way everything worked out & i loved the epilogue.

Favorite Character - Roc

I found this book really odd reading, normally when i read singular point of view books it is the girl not the guy doing the telling. This book it was just the guy. Every other KA book which i have read has been duo or multiple point of view (so far) so i figure she was trying something new with this book. I did like reading Layne point of view but i did miss having Roc's too. I do however think that i would not of upped it a star with Roc's point of view being included because the story was not a five star in my opinion. It was interesting & exciting things did happen but it wasn't mind blowingly wicked, ya know?

2. Nolan - He seemed like a sweetheart. He tried so hard & I loved his love for Eve.

I have read and enjoyed quite a few books by this author. The sex scenes in them is normally ranging from hot to really hot, I felt a bit let down in this book. I guess the sex was still hot but it wasn't as good as i wanted it to be. Foreplay was an unknown concept that is for sure. Oh and a few references to horses during sex were rather odd but *shrug* Thankfully the story made up for the not the best sex. I surprisingly enjoyed the story, i had been worried Julia would be a spoilt brat of a character - that would of really sucked. She was actually a really sweet character who cared about other people & animals. Cooper was a major hunk of a cowboy, he came across like a wet-dream personified - needs work on his foreplay thought IMO :) The ending & epilogue were great.

I would recommend the book.

Motorcycle Man (Dream Man, #4) by Kristen Ashley

Motorcycle Man (Dream Man, #4)Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - three out of five.
Favorite line - “Truth, honesty, perseverance, strength, love of all kinds and forgiveness are all beautiful, Tack. The most beautiful stories ever told are the most difficult to take.”
Favorite Character - Tyra

I must admit that Tack hadn't been my favorite of the dream men, I wasnt as excited about reading this book as i was Mitch's (Law Man). I wanted to finish the series anyway regardless of my feelings towards Tack. I couldn't of been more surprised when i didn't enjoy Mitch's book that much (I dislike Mara), I was even more surprised because i loved this book.
I loved Tyra & Tack together. The start was amazing. I was like OMG how will they come back from this! What a nerve wrecking book. As always the secondary characters were amazing, they completed the story. I really liked Tabby & Rush - I cannot wait to read their books in the chaos series. The sex in this book was often & incredible (holy-hotness-batman). I was elated by the ending and the epilogue made me frolicsome, i was like skipping around my living room with the cheesiest smile :)

I would recommend this book.

Kiss an AngelKiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - five out of five.
Favorite line - “I take thee... to be my awful wedded husband” & “Don't dare a person who has nothing else left to lose.”
Favorite Character - Daisy

I adored this book! It made me laugh, cry & smile :)
My favorite things
1. Discovering Daisy - She is a interesting & entertaining character. I loved her through out the entire book. I <3 her with the animals. I loved her with Alex. I plain loved her.
2. The many sides of Alex - I hated him, I liked him & I found him H.O.T, he was so many things during this book it wasn't till right at the end i finally decided how i felt about his character.
3. Circus Life - I loved where the book was set. I find Circuses very interesting & even though you didn't find out much i still found it interesting reading.
4. The epilogue - 3 cheers for an epilogue! I think that all authors should start having them! I want them to become a literary Transmitted Disease, LTD for short.

I would recommend this book & I look forward to reading more by this author.

Ain't She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Ain't She SweetAin't She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - four out of five.
Favorite line - “When he overheard the boys whispering that he was a queer, he said he regarded that as a compliment since so many of the world’s great men had been homosexual. Alas, I’ve been sentenced to a life mundane heterosexuality. I can only hope that a few of you will be more fortunate.
Favorite Character - Sugar.

Now this book had cheese factor in spades but i truly loved it anyway.
My favorite things -
1. Colin's humor, he had some really awesome lines.
2. Sugar, she was so flawed & broken. I had a total girl crush on her by the end. I loved her humor too.
3. Colin's book the final one.
4. The secondary characters, i loved how much they add to the story. I loved Gigi the best.

This book is well written, it is interesting and it was a lovely story. It made me smile, laugh & it made me happy when i was reading it - what more could you look for in a romance novel?

I would recommend this book & i plan on reading every book the author writes or has written :)

Taking Chances by Molly McAdams

Taking ChancesTaking Chances by Molly McAdams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - five out of five. (my number five, my question mark & apostrophe keys are are all broken)
Favorite Line - “That first night, I did realize I would never meet another girl like you. But you deserve someone who has waited for you as long as you have waited for them. And no matter how much I wish I could be that guy, I can't Harper.”
Favorite Character - Bre i think.

I am so lost as to how i feel about this book, I think i liked (a lot) it but i also know i hated parts of it. I feel very muddled.
I was surprised it got classed as YA even mature YA as it has quite a few sex scenes, detailed ones at that. Because of this it is a book i would never class as YA.
I also think the story was quite predictable, i had pretty much guessed how it was going to play out 40 percent in, maybe even before that. I do agree without a lot of people who have linked it with other books as it was quite similar in parts to other books which i have read but I do think the book held its own story-wise in the end. I felt 70 percent onward (about then i think) the book was wrapping up, almost like you could of condensed the final thirty into maybe 10 percent, but *shrug* that is just my opinion.
So i have criticized the book quite a bit but i do want you to know i did enjoy it! I loved the love triangle, i thought the emotions between them seemed realistic & i enjoyed the chemistry between the characters. I thought the sex scenes were hot. I also did like the ending even i did feel it went on a bit.

I would recommend this book & in the future i plan on reading more by this author.

Law Man (Dream Man, #3) by Kristen Ashley

Law Man (Dream Man, #3)Law Man by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - four out of five.
Favorite Line - “Best thing that ever happened to me, that shredded washer," he whispered.
"Too bad I didn't know what a washer was or I would have shredded it myself," I whispered back.
Favorite Character - Mitch

I loved Mitch's bit parts in the other dream man books & I was really looking forward to reading Mitch's book. I really enjoyed this book. Mitch is as i hoped he would be; amazing, caring, dependable, alpha & sexy as hell. Sadly i wasn't a Mara fan, at the start especially. Mara was an amazing aunt & a nice woman but she was far to whiny & insecure for me. She didn't ruin the book or anything but i am glad the children were in this book because if it had just been Mitch & her in a book i doubt i would of liked it. I loved how everything worked out & as well i freaking adored the epilogue - i think all authors should do them as they rock my world :)

I would recommend this book & I have already downloaded Tacks book, i am looking forward to it too.

The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters, #1) by Suzanne Brockmann

The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters, #1)The Unsung Hero by Suzanne Brockmann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Title & Cover - 3.5/5
Favorite line - "His smile says to me, 'I love myself so much, I'd suck my own dick if only I could read it with my mouth."
Favorite Character - Mallory

There was a lot going on is this story, it wasn't just one love story it was four. I got a bit distracted at the start (i think maybe it was going too slow for me?) and i was thinking it was a 3 star kinda of book. Then about 40 percent in i turned a corner and started really enjoying it. I was so happy when Tom & Kelly finally got together, they totally deserved each other & loads of love after such hard lives. I also loved David & Mallory <3 seriously sweet - like puppies & cotton candy, they made me want to "awww" out loud. I cried so much at the end, like a total baby balling my eyes out. I was so glad everything worked out ok (well mostly) I do love happy endings.

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading more by this author.

Hounded (Shifter Town Enforcement #1) by Sadie Hart

Hounded (Shifter Town Enforcement #1)Hounded by Sadie Hart
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4/5
Favorite Character - Lennox

I want to start this review with complete honesty so that you can hopefully understand my review & rating. Here it goes, I do not like anal sex or Male/Male sex scenes in my books (out of my books it is not an issues but i find neither a turn on.) I think my feelings contributed slightly towards the 3 star rating but i do not think they ruled me. I found the book interesting but something was lacking to make this a great book. The sex scenes & sexual chemistry between the three of them was spicy. The characters were all intriguing in there own ways, I liked how kickass Lennox was.

I would recommend this book to people who like paranormal ménage à trois.

Texas! Lucky by Sandra Brown

Cover & Title - 3/5
Favorite line - “If you loved people, you might hurt them, dissapoint them, anger them, but you never, ever, dishonored them.”
Favorite Character - Susan, what a mean little witch.

I purchased this book after noticing in my goodreads friends favorite pile. I have been craving a good book with a hot Texan so i figured this book would fit the bill. Lucky is certainly a hot Texan but he is also a bad, bad boy. I am normally super put off slutty men but Lucky's attitude towards Devon made me forgive his less than honorable past. Devon pissed me off a bit but overall i did like her. I enjoyed the story and found it pretty easy going up until the end which has my crying like a baby.

I have already bought the rest of the books in the trilogy so i would of read the next regardless but i am looking forward to reading Chase's story and seeing how Sandra play's it.

I would recommend this book.

It Had to Be You (Chicago Stars, #1) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

It Had to Be You (Chicago Stars, #1)It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - Uh cover 2/5, title 5/5.
Favorite Lines - ‎"There’s no such thing as mistakes – only a lack of foresight.” & “I guess we're oil and water." "I'd say we're more like gasoline and a blowtorch."
Favorite Character - Phoebe

I loved this book, it was flipping fantastic! I found it on some of my goodread's friends bookshelves two weeks or so ago and after reading the reviews have wanted to read it since. I expected a lot from this book, I truly was not disappointed. It was so much more than i could of hoped for, i wish we could give half stars as it should be a 4.5

My favorite things about this book -
1. Phoebe, oh my heart went out to her when you found out about her past and when she tried to hard to be tough/sexy/vixen. She was a complex character that evoked a lot of emotions.
2. Dan's ex wife being a kinky witch <3
3. The epilogue, I was beginning to believe that only Kristen Ashley could really rock an epilogue but i was proved wrong.

I am really looking forward to reading more by this author & more in this series. I would recommend this book.

Homeward Bound by Kat Attalla

Homeward BoundHomeward Bound by Kat Attalla
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 3/5. I don't like the cover *shrug*
Favorite Character - Kate

I downloaded this book as a freebie from Amazon at the weekend. I read two of the others i downloaded before i got to this & since they were so poor I was worried i was onto another dud. I didn't have to worry this is actually a really good story. It has interesting backstory & good characters. The chemistry between Jake & Kate was nice and the sexual scenes between them were hot. I was really happy with the way things worked out as i love a happy ending. I do think Trevor should get a book too though & maybe even Chloe as she is 17 by the end of the book. I thought the writing & editing were good for what i assume (maybe i am an ass?) is a self-pub. I did spot 2 or 3 minor mistakes but nothing that would stop you from enjoying the book.

I would recommend this book & I will hope the author will release a Trevor book ;) so i can read it.

To Die For (Blair Mallory, #1) by Linda Howard

To Die For (Blair Mallory, #1)To Die For by Linda Howard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4/5
Favorite line - "She can't forgive him?" he asked in a strained tone. "She tried to kill him!" "Well yeah" I said. Mom said, "He redecorated her bedroom."
Favorite Character - Blair

I did enjoy this book & I did like the story. I was happy with the way everything turned out in the ending. There was enough content i enjoyed to make me rate it 4 but I did however find the book really annoying at times. I did laugh quite a few times when i was reading it & I found the relationship between Blair & her mum really sweet.

Things I did not like about the book -
1. Wyatt was really flipping annoying, he needed slapped at least a few times. I would never of ended up with him. In-fact i think i might of shot him if i was Blair.
2. They mentioned that some names rhymed but they really didn't. I even stupidly tried saying the names aloud to see if i could get them to rhyme, it did not work.
3. Blair was a push over, she needed to try hard to fight things she apparently didn't want.
4. Blair's sister making out with Blair's husband at the time but getting totally forgiven. I would of never ever spoken to my sister again.

I would recommend this book & I plan on reading the next book in the series.

On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

On Dublin StreetOn Dublin Street by Samantha Young
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 5/5
Favorite line - "wearing a jacket in Scotland when it wasn't below freezing made you stick out as a tourist. No joke." (that is so goddamn true)
Favorite Character - Joss

Oh so wow.
My favorite things about this book -
1. It is set in Scotland (I am Scottish, living in Scotland). I love knowing where some of the places in the book are, having visited some of the places in person really added another dimension to the story for me.
2. The build up & chemistry between Joss & Braden. It was such a sexy build up, everything between them seemed to spark. It was luscious & engaging, I was so excited to read the first sex scene. The way Samantha wrote it made me feel like i was right there with them.
3. I was on the edge of my seat a lot during this book, I crossed my fingers & sighed out loud too. What i am trying to explain is that this book evoked a tonne of emotions. I even cried at one point. The story was really intense.
4. The ending <3 Samantha you are my heroine. I love a happy ending.

I think it is hard to find a book which has sex scenes but isn't lighthearted/corny/over the top. Most books seem to drop the actual grit of the story to have more sex scenes, not this book, this book had grit. The story-line was fantastic, i loved finding out everything about Joss. I loved how the book was written & how the author kept giving me surprises. The book was original, it was full of emotion & it hooked me straight away.

I would recommend this book & I will continue to read more books released by this author.

Coming Undone (Brown Siblings, #2) by Lauren Dane

Coming Undone (Brown Siblings, #2)Coming Undone by Lauren Dane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Cover & Title - 4.5/5
Favorite line - “Like I need to play on the Wii when you're there willing to fuck me. Video games are what men invented to fill the sex void. Any man who chooses video games over sex deserves to live in his mother's basement with his mint-condition, in box Star Wars figurines and his real doll."
Favorite Character - Rennie

I enjoyed this book, it was a great follow on from Erin's book which was first in the series. It is not even a third as kinky as Erin's book (Laid Bare). The kinkiest thing that happened was a M/M oral sex scene. The story was interesting & absorbing. The sex scenes were hot & the chemistry between Brody & Elise is buzzing. I truly hated Raven as a character, she made my palms itch. The ending was sweet, i do love a HEA.

I would recommend this book & i plan on reading more by this author and the next book in the series.
